Carmelo Anthony is a suped up Jamal Mashburn. Nothing more. And all I can remember when his name come up is him sucker-punched a Kinck player (Nate Robinson? Mardy Collins?) and ran away like a fucking little bitch.


First of all I want to say that I'm impressed with the effort they showed I really didn't expect a victory here but they fought hard and had their chances down the stretch but just couldn't quite get it done. They were on a 2nd night of a b2b set and were shorthanded, can't win them all I guess. This loss is frustrating to me because I think we played well enough to win but got the game taken away because the refs DECIDED TO TAKE OVER THE FUCKING GAME instead of letting the players, who actually play the game, to decide the fucking game!!


I've never seen anything like this bullshit in my life. Raja is tossed, T on Amare, then the refs call a foul on Skinner when the nugs barely have the ball passed halfcourt. WTF. And Raja's ejection is beyond unbelivable. He got a T because he was smiling. Smiling. SMILING!!!!! He wasn't even looking at the refs, wasn't clapping his hands, he was just smiling and BANG, he's gone.



So the old dude thought Raja was showing him up, fine. THE NUGGETS WERE SHOWING UP THE REFS ALL NIGHT MUCH MORE THAN WE WERE AND WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T THEY GET T'D UP?? It’s fine if you want to have a hair trigger on the T’s, but you have to apply the same standards to both teams. Tonight, those losers did not apply the same standards to both teams. There’s no fucking way they can claim that they did. It wasn’t even close. How is it that Raja can laugh and get ejected, but AI and Anthony can scream and yap at a ref and not get a T? It was unfair and absolutely inexcusable!!!



And then later in the game the same fucker gave Amare a T for...well I don't know. Amare just threw his arms down and he got T'd up. WTF. Camby did the same thing but worse (Amare didn't yell, Camby did), no, no T. WTF. JR Smith pounded the ball down the court when he gets called for a foul, no T. WTF. AI yapped all night long, nope, no T. WTF.




If it's not for the Suns, I won't even bother watching the NBA. Seriously.




So let's see: a competitive player gets a call against him in the heat of the game. He's not allowed to:

- Clap his hands
- Argue the call
- Laugh
- Stare
- Smile
- Slam the ball down
- Slap the backboard
- Put his hand on the official
- Yell in disbelief
- Curse or swear, either to himself or at anyone else
- Pretty much show any emotion or display of competitivness.
(all of this within reason, of course)


Otherwise, it's showing up the officials, and they then retain the right to alter the course of a game with make up calls and momentum-shifting fouls whenever they feel justified. And, of couse, nobody...and I mean NOBODY better say a word about it unless they want to sleep with the fishes.



Gotta love the NBA.
