I don't care how he wasn't able to get off the bench under Sloan or whatever, it's a good pick up for us. We desperate need a shooter and guy does play some decent defense at the 3 spot, something we really need to give Hill some relief. Sloan wants his players to play a certain way. It may hvae been Giricek's defense, or maybe something else. But I wouldn't label him a headcase by any means. So it's a good pick up IMO.


I'd rather have Barry for sure but he fucked with us so F him. I'd gladly take a guy who indeed wanted to be here.

Also, this is basically a 'contract year' for him where he may get a good chance to show off some skills. Unlike Barry, who's 35 and in his last contract, Giri's still looking for his last pay day so that would work in our favor. Hopefully he'll play motivated basketball for us.


Hopefully, he'll get off the bench.
