It is really amazing that for Amare having a tough family like that had turned out the way he did with any redeeming character whatsoever. It's amazing that he is able to focus on basketball and luckily he seems to have his head on straight.

And people wonder why he might not be the best teammate in history.

I think Amare is gonna be a little weird. I don't think he really is a loner (Boris is more of a loner, according to :07 or less), he may just lack the social skills, or not as talkative or outgoing as others. It comes with his background and I don't doubt his ego and cockiness rubs people off the wrong way. But he's a basically good guy, and that in itself is a huge accomplishment for anyone in a situation like his.

RE: Marwan. He is not being charged as the trigger man. He is being charged with being present during the murder...which still carries a 1st degree murder charge, but may be dropped to a lesser charge in a conviction or a plea deal. He also had drugs on him when he was arrested, which does not help him at all.
