Yes...I'm typing this in English...although I'm not living in the US, but...one of my collegue just took a day off to watch the election live... WTF lol. Anyway, I think BO is an empty suit. Black, White or Purple it doesn't matter...he's wrong for the US in my opinion.

I dont agree with the man's policy on the economy with tax and spend solutions. I don't believe in growing government to solve peoples problems...that's not what this country is about. I just think taht the last thing this country needs is more taxes, and an expansion of an already overgrown government. The "spread the wealth around" doesn't work for most people in the US...grant I'm not in the US and I'm not rich, I don't make $250k...but I wouldn't want a hand out. I wouldn't want socialized healthcare or "tax credits" at the expense of someone who's actually earned their money.
Also, I have a huge problem with his stance on life and abortion...I am in the middle on this issue, but late term and partial birth abortions etc are just wrong and disgusting! Furthermore, his past associations might not dictate his policy, but the man's liberal ideals are just too far left for me. He's been so far left his entire life, and his entire political career! I don't beleive he can all of the sudden change just because he is the President now.
I think the man is phenominal at delivering a speach....he's great at motivating people for his cause....and thats about it! Really!
I'd took some heat over it in my workplace...lol but that's fine. I respect the fact that he was able to achieve what he did...he is the first black man to be President of the USA...it's a historical night. But to me, that however is the least important thing. We'll see what he does. If he can turn it around great...I'll eat crow. Until then, I'll remain highly skeptical and very unsupportive of the man who has in my opinion bought himself the presidency.
Oh by the way...I didn't like McCain either, nor Bush.....yea at least we're not going to hear the "Zesus wants me to attack Iraq" BS.  I don't think we'll hear Obama bemoan the fact that America is not a dictatorship (yes, Bush did this = =||||). Although I'm not 100% sold on Obama's foreign policy but he believes in a secular America, where laws and provisions work for everybody, which is exactly what Thomas Jefferson believed. Obama believes that the US need to be PART of the world, not Team America World Police...this could be a huge step forward. For the past 8 years, the USA's been the hated laughing stock of the world - the evil, dim-witted giant....lol
