Meanwhile, every fucking outlet is trying to pimp Bynum's return like he's gonna walk on the floor and make an instant and struggle-free contribution from jump street after being out for 2 months.


But, still apples and oranges. KG is still struggling with the injury cuz an ab injury tends to take longer to heal because youre always using your ab and core to do everything. That kind of an injury can really linger. Bynums knee injury was a bad sprain, but you can avoid using that leg and rehab to get it really right. However, because he hasnt been able to run or do any kind of cardio because of the knee injury, it is ridiculous to assume he's going to step right back on the court and be the player he was when he went down. Depending on when he coems back and how healed he is, it could still take a legit 3-4 weeks to get his conditioning and timing back, not to mention confidence in the knee. And not only that, but you also have to work him back in with a new player, which wont make things easier. The lakers coudl be rolling and have a nice chemistry and rhythm, and then have to re-insert a less than 100% bynum. It will be tricky, but fuck 'em.
